Role Overview

As a Product Manager at 1Breadcrumb, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers while aligning with our business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will actively contribute to the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market and customer research to identify key opportunities and customer pain points within the construction industry.
  • Analyse customer feedback and collaborate closely with internal teams to understand their needs, translating insights into actionable product requirements.
  • Define and prioritise product features and improvements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation and timely delivery of new features, maintaining a balance between innovation and execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Contribute to the partnership strategy, identifying and fostering strategic alliances that enhance our product offerings and market presence.
  • Work closely with product marketing, customer success, and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Contribute to global expansion efforts, identifying opportunities for growth in new regions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute expansion strategies effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the B2B SaaS industry, with a track record of successfully launching and iterating products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experienced in collaborating with customers and stakeholders, locally and internationally.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering impactful outcomes that build customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Experience in the construction industry or related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Hybrid working arrangement based in Cremorne, Victoria, Australia.

Founded in Melbourne in April 2020, the platform is used in 4 countries and has become the default safety solution in the Australian mid-market. Off the back of this success, we’re expanding the team and looking for our next ambitious individual.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Renewals Manager to join our Customer Success (CS) team. This pivotal role will focus on managing renewals and driving account growth. As well as coaching and supporting the team in renewing customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer success, adept at building strong relationships, and skilled in driving customer retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Renewals: Own and manage the end-to-end renewal process for a large percentage of our customer base, ensuring timely and successful contract renewals.
  • Reduce Churn: Develop and execute strategies to reduce churn and improve customer retention, working closely with the CS team to identify at-risk accounts and implement proactive measures.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data and analytics to track renewal performance, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance, training, and support to the CS team in managing renewals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any issues that may impact renewals. 
  • Upsell and Cross-sell: Identify opportunities to expand and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
  • Customer Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer, providing insights and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous product and service improvements.

About You

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in renewals management, account management, or customer success within a SaaS environment, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing renewals, reducing churn and growing customer accounts.
  • Customer Focus: Strong negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to handle complex customer situations and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Analytical: Proficient in using CRM software and data analytics software to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the construction industry and its unique challenges is a plus.
